Pima Air and Space Museum

Does the museum have wheelchairs or motorized scooters available for guests to use?

The museum is accessible by wheelchair or motorized scooter, but we do not have any on-site to rent or loan out to guests.

Are pets allowed at the museum?

Leashed pets are permitted to walk both inside the buildings and on the museum’s outside grounds. Please note that only service animals can join you in the restaurant and on tram or AMARG tours.

Is there a picnic area available to eat packed lunches?

With the exception of water, outside food and drink is not permitted on the museum’s property. There is a restaurant on-site that serves lunch and snacks.

Does the museum have space available to park an RV?

There is plenty of free parking available for guests to park an RV during the day while they visit the museum. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted.

How much time should I plan to spend at the museum?

The typical museum visit is approximately 3-4 hours. Two-day passes are available for guests who’d like to spread their visit over two days.

May I go inside the aircraft on display?

Guests can get close to the aircraft, but they are not permitted to go inside most planes.

Is there space available to store luggage during my visit?

Limited space is available if needed to store luggage while guests visit the museum.

Does the museum have a veterans' discount?

A discounted price for museum admission is offered to active duty military personnel only.

Does the museum have airplanes or airplane parts available for purchase?

The museum is not part of a salvage yard, and it does not sell airplanes or airplane parts. The aircraft collection displayed at the museum has been restored for guests to view and is not for sale.
