AMARG Tour Terms and Conditions
General Terms and Conditions:
Please read the Terms and Conditions carefully before making an AMARG Tour reservation.
Your use of the website to make an AMARG Tour reservation is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance of these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the website to make an AMARG Tour reservation.
By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, then you may not make a reservation for the AMARG Tour.
Once the bus departs the museum, the duration of the tour is variable and subject to local traffic and base traffic conditions, by joining the tour you assume all risks associated with missing other obligations such as flights from the local airport. You will not be permitted to leave the tour bus at any stage until returning to the museum, except in the case of medical or other emergent situations.
By Agreeing to these Terms & Conditions you warrant that you have made truthful and legal representations as to your IDentity.
This tour is being provIDed by the Arizona Aerospace Foundation, which is a private Not -for Profit 501 (c) 3 organization in partnership with the United States Air Force. The AAF is not a U.S. Government Agency.
Method of Payment:
Full payment must be made at the time of purchase by credit card. The reservation request will not be completed until full payment is received.
All bookings remain as an unconfirmed request for a tour spot until the mandatory information required by the United States Air Force has been submitted to them.
Davis- Monthan Air Force Base has the right to refuse entry to any person on the tour during the bus inspection, if your entry is revoked at this check point, Pima Air and Space Museum is not responsible for your transportation back to the museum.
This is a non-refundable tour.
Tickets are not transferable.
Tours cannot be rescheduled for a different time or date. Refunds will not be issued for missed tours or canceled reservations.
If we are unable to contact you at the email address or phone number provided for inquiries regarding your reservation or mandatory information, your reservation will be canceled without refund.
Participants will be notified in advance if possible but will not receive a refund if he or she is denied access to the base because of incomplete mandatory information or because the participant did not pass security clearance.
All tickets are non-refundable with the following exception:
Refunds will only be issued if the tour is canceled by the museum or by Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. Every effort will be made to contact you as soon as possible if a tour has been canceled. This may be short notice or even ‘same day’. U.S. Air Force Security conditions can change abruptly with little or no notification depending on the nature of the security position.
Required Information at Time of Reservation:
All AMARG/Boneyard tour participants including minors, those below the age of 16 years old, must have paid tour reservations. All participants age 16 and older must bring the ID used to make the reservation to the museum on the tour date.
U.S. Citizens: 16 and older
Non-U.S. Citizens: 16 and older
U.S. and Non-U.S. Citizens: under 16 years of age
On the day of the tour, all participants age 16 and older need to be present at the Pima Air & Space Museum Admissions counter. Participants will be required to show the same photo ID used to make their reservation. Please plan to arrive at least one-hour prior to the scheduled tour time to check in. The bus begins loading in the museum parking lot approximately 15 minutes before the tour departure time. Participants will not be allowed on the bus if they have not first checked in at the museum admissions counter and received a boarding pass.
Tour Length is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, but tour time depends on how long it takes to get through security at Davis-Monthan AFB. This is a Bus tour, there is no option to get off the bus and walk around AMARG/Boneyard.
Security measures for the U.S. base are in effect. The U.S. Air Force prohibits the carrying of firearms, weapons, illegal substances, backpacks, camera cases, telescopic lenses, video cameras or recording equipment, and other non-essential items on the AMARG/Boneyard tour. Please leave these items in your vehicle. Carry-on items may include a small camera without the case and a small purse or fanny/belt pack. All items will be visually inspected before boarding the bus.
Please note although the tour is handicap accessible, the museum does not provide/rent wheelchairs. Participants must have notified Pima Air and Space Museum in advance to have extra seats reserved for their wheelchair.
