The museum is accessible by wheelchair or motorized scooter, but we do not have any on-site to rent or loan out to guests.
Leashed pets are permitted to walk both inside the buildings and on the museum’s outside grounds. Please note that only service animals can join you in the restaurant and on the tram tour.
No. The Pima Air & Space Museum is a non-governmental, entirely self-supporting (through tickets, sales, and events) 501 (c) 3 Charitable Not For Profit organization. Our mission is the advancement of aerospace education and preservation but we receive no government or private support for operations. All of our earned revenue goes directly to support this mission. We do Not provide items or tickets for other charitable organizations’ fundraisers or activities. While there is a plethora of very noble and valuable charities in the region, we give back to the local community through our Education Program that provides free admission annually to over 28,000 K-12 school children and community service organizations serving this age demographic as well as special needs groups of all ages.
With the exception of water, outside food and drink is not permitted on the museum’s property. There is a restaurant on-site that serves lunch and snacks.
There is plenty of free parking available for guests to park an RV during the day while they visit the museum. Please note that overnight parking is not permitted.
The typical museum visit is approximately 3-4 hours. Two-day passes are available for guests who’d like to spread their visit over two days.
Guests can get close to the aircraft, but they are not permitted to go inside most planes.
Limited space is available if needed to store luggage while guests visit the museum.
The museum is not part of a salvage yard, and it does not sell airplanes or airplane parts. The aircraft collection displayed at the museum has been restored for guests to view and is not for sale.
Non-commercial photography and video recording are permitted. Commercial photography is not allowed without written permission. To arrange a commercial photo or video recording session, please contact the foundation’s Advertising Manager at [email protected].
Currently, we do not take reservations or sell tickets in advance. Museum admission is purchased the day of the visit. Reservations are only accepted for groups of 20 or more guests arriving together and making one payment. Click here for information regarding group visits.
