Spring Break Day Camp

Sign your child up for a day filled with fun STEAM activities at the Pima Air and Space Museum! They will fly in our brand-new simulators and navigate through hands-on challenges and exercises in coding, engineering, and drawing. Participants will also get to tour SOFIA, a Boeing 747SP used by NASA to observe the infrared universe! Space is limited. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

      Check-in details

      Check-in begins at 8:30am in the administration building located on the northeast side of the museum (park in Staff Lot for check-in and drop off).
      Please arrive to check-in no later than 9:00am am to ensure your child is able to participate in all planned activities

      Please provide:

      • Water bottle
      • Sunscreen
      • Hat
      • Closed toe shoes

       

      Special requirements

      Please read and have your child read the following rules and expectations for the STEAM Camp. A copy is available on our website, along with other important forms.

      1. Participants will follow directions of all museum staff during camp.
      2. Participants must stay with the group during camp. They may not explore any area of the museum on their own.
      3. Participants will treat each other with respect. Pima Air and Space Museum has a strict no bullying or harassment policy and will not tolerate any bullying behavior.
      4. Participant’s cell phones will need to stay on silent and in their pocket. The only exception will be during the museum tour so they can take pictures. They may not take phones or cameras into restrooms.
      5. Participants will treat museum property and artifacts (including aircraft) with respect. They may not climb on any of the aircraft or touch aircraft or other artifacts that are behind a barrier. Parents/guardians will be charged for damage that occurs to museum property that is caused by your child.
      6. Participants will be respectful of other visitors at the museum and not yell or run while in the hangars and other buildings.

      Failure to agree to or follow these rules and expectations will result in expulsion from the camp. You will be required to pick up your child early. No refunds will be issued for early removal of a student due to misbehavior.

      MAKE SURE YOU PRINT AND FILL OUT THE FORMS THAT WILL BE INCLUDED IN YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL AND BRING THEM IN ON THE DAY OF CAMP.

       

      Cancellations

      CANCELLATION POLICY

      If your child is not going to be able to attend the camp, please let us know in writing at [email protected]. Please understand this is a non-refundable program and cancellations or no-shows will not be refunded.

      Please note that this program is a rain-or-shine event and is not subject to cancellation due to the weather.
