Pilot Exploration Summer Camp

Send your child to learn what it takes to become a pilot! Your child will learn about the science of flight, navigation, meteorology, and even get the chance to learn basic flight controls in a simulator made from a real A-10 training cockpit! This immersive experience will allow the campers to learn the basics of flight during landing and takeoff under guidance of museum staff. Lunch and snacks will be provided each day.
Topics Include:
- Day 1: Intro to the Science of Flight and Aviation
- Day 2: Navigation and Meteorology
- Day 3: Instrument Training
Camp is from 9:00am-3:00pm each day. Campers must be between the ages of 8 and 12.
Cost
- Non-member: $200/child
- Member: $175/child
