Summer Camp

REGISTRATION IS OPEN!

Discover the exciting world of aviation, space exploration, engineering, and history with a week-long Summer Camp.

Camps are offered throughout the summer with different themes each week. Choose your favorite or attend all four weeks! Each week, campers will get to go to three museums: Pima Air and Space Museum, Tucson Military Vehicle Museum, and the Titan Missile Museum. Campers will be divided into two age groups: 6-9 and 10-12.

Camp Schedule:

  • June: 8th-12th: STEAM Camp

Campers will experiment with the science of flight, rocket-building, and the fascinating world of tanks and other vehicles. They’ll get the chance to tour the inside of some of the museum’s aircraft and fly on the museum’s simulators.

  • June: 22nd-26th: Pilot Exploration Camp

Campers will learn about what it takes to become a pilot. They’ll tour the museum and learn about different types of aircraft, experiment with the different forces involved in flight, and fly on the museum’s simulators.

  • July: 6th-10th: Spy Camp

Campers will work together to solve the mystery of who has stolen an artifact from our museum. Campers will gather clues throughout the week while they learn about using ciphers, Morse Code, invisible ink, and more!

  •  July: 13th-17th Space Camp

Campers will learn about astronomy and space exploration as they build models and design space suits. They’ll also get the chance to tour the inside of the museum’s 747-SP that was used by NASA for infrared astronomy.

All campers will spend Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at 6000 E. Valencia Rd. (Pima Air and Space Museum and Tucson Military Vehicle Museum). Campers will travel to the Titan Missile Museum in Green Valley via a chartered school bus on Wednesdays.
