Pacific Airwave’s K-series of gliders are high performance hang-gliders intended for use in competitions. In 1989, the year the Magic Kiss was released, pilots flying them won the European, World, and Women’s Hang Gliding Championships. The same year Kevin Christoperson set the then world record for distance in a hang glider of 287.5 miles. The K-series gliders dominated the California Coastal Races in the early 1990s as well.
